Jigawa State University - The Government of Jigawa State has established a University known as Jigawa State University at Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State. The University has gained the recognition of the National Universities Commission (NUC) as the 39th State University and 129th University in the Nigerian University System. It is a conventional University that will offer courses and conduct research in various areas of the Sciences, Education, Humanities and Management. Academic activities will commence in the 2013/2014 academic session.
